Surrounded by medieval villages and vineyards, and just moments from the famous River Lot Veloroute. Relax by the private pool and create lasting memories in this tranquil setting.
Our cozy accommodation is the perfect place to unwind.

Reserved for adults only (over 18 years) our gite comfortably sleeps four and the stylish bedrooms each have their own access to the terrace.
The salon has a seating area with flat screen TV, dining area and a kitchenette complete with oven, microwave, induction hob and everything you might need to self cater.
Free wifi is available in all indoor areas.

Take in the scenery from your terrace, relax by the pool and enjoy al fresco dining prepared in the outdoor kitchen. Explore the local markets for fresh, delicious products and tour the many local vineyards to sample the fantastic wines on offer. No matter what you choose, we guarantee you will have a memorable stay.

For self catering, there is a large Le Clerc supermarket within ten minutes drive and also a Boulangerie and Epicerie in nearby Duravel. Due to the rural location a car is advisable.

Travelling from the UK?
Our nearest airport is Bergerac which is an easy, scenic, one hour drive from the gite. Flights to Bergerac are available from several UK airports with Ryanair and British Airways.
If you prefer to drive, we are eight to nine hours from Calais.

We are unable to accept pets at Gite La Terrasse.

PRIVATE POOL
The private pool is reserved for you during your stay (May-October).
There are sunbeds and a comfortable seating area with shade.
The outdoor kitchen is housed in an ancient Bread Oven, this and the shaded outdoor seating and dining area are just a few steps from the pool.
Accommodation
Bedroom one has a 160cm super king bed and bedroom two has a 140cm double bed.
There is a shower room with separate WC.
A hallway leads to the salon and kitchenette/dining area.
The position and construction of the gite keeps the rooms super cool in the hot summer months and there is heating for the cooler times.
Bedding and towels (pool and bathroom) are included in your stay.
In a tranquil and serene environment, our holiday rental is the perfect base for exploring the area, or simply relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Beautifully decorated and well thought out, this accommodation has everything there for your comfort and enjoyment. The great swimming pool sits alongside the most relaxing seating area with evening sunshine and gorgeous views. The area is stunning with plenty to see and visit. We recommend the local vineyard for their Red and Rose wine. There are many good restaurants and also a large supermarket eight mins drive if you prefer to self cater. Jo & Rob are lovely hosts, nothing is too much trouble. When we travel to France staying here is always a highlight!

A delightful restful holiday in the beautiful Lot Valley.
Jo and Rob provide a superb hide-away in their Gite in the rural Lot Valley, surrounded by hills, farms, vineyards and the Lot River.
We stayed for a week in mid September and were provided with superb holiday accommodation in Jo and Rob’s Gite. Yes, you will need your own transport but that just adds to the experience. The Gite offers two bedrooms with additional bathroom and kitchen/ dining. But what the Gite really offers is a number of both internal and external spaces in which to relax and unwind. The pool is a welcome respite in the hot summer (and Autumn) heat and the shade areas are a great spot to relax with a glass of wine. As hosts, Jo and Rob provide just the right kind of assistance; there if you need them, but also respectful of the time you need to yourselves.
The local area offers a wide range of activities from wine tasting, long walks by the river and exploring the local villages and Castles. The market at Praysaac should not be missed as a reflection of the perfect French village farmer’s market.
The seclusion of the Gite offers a respite from the usual busy tourist areas and the Lot Valley must be one of the best “undiscovered” areas of France. And Gite La Terrasse is the perfect place to explore the area 10/10
